O is for Open Arms by Journey

A-Z Banner

Everyday on the news, there was another killing. Ola didn’t want the next breaking news to involve her son, Ethan’s death.

“Mom, you worry too much.”

“It’s my job,” Ola said. “I watch the news.”

Ethan couldn’t look her in the eyes anymore. “I applied to a college out of state and I was accepted.”

“So now what?”

He took her hand. Looking in her eyes he said, “Now you have to open your arms and let me go.”

A mother always worries!! But you need your child to grow so let go and let them find their own world! Great story!

Yes, we, mothers do. Yes, we should allow our children to grow. It’s not always easy. Thank you.
